The Dienamic Shop floor Data Collection module is an excellent 2 way communication system between your Front Office and Plant Floor. The Shop Floor Data Collection System not only tracks all Labor, Material and Inventory transactions that take place but it also allows information to be sent from the plant floor to the offeice and from the office to the plant floor. The result is information being instantly communicated to increase quality and reduce errors. The ability to track all transcation occuring on the shop floor provides employee accountability of their time and materials used. Demanding accountiability in the employees results in better productivity, less waste and great quality.

The Data Collection Stations are not required for each piece of Production Equipment. They are usually placed at distance that are convenient for employees to walk without being unproductive. Each Data Collection Station can be setup by you to have only the functionality that you want the employess using that station to have.

All Data Collection Stations can be used with Bar Code readers that allow employees to minimize keyboard use and simply wand bar codes for most entry.

The Shop Floor Data Collection System can be used for Clocking In and Clocking Out

This can replace your Time Clock and provide Payroll Summaries to the office

The employees will account for every minute of their day by using the

time feautre of the software

This provides accurate costing and makes employees accountable for all time and material that is processed in your plant

Before the employee starts to run the job he can view the Electronic Order and see if there have been any last minute changes.

The Problem History can be used in 3 ways

                1. As a database of Problems and solutions for future reference

                2. Explanation as to differences in your Actual Costs to estimated Costs

                3. Attached to this Job so that if this Job is re-run in the future you will be warned of the problems                       encountered last time.

The PO Items option will provide plant employees with a listing of all open POs. When the Receiver accepts an item at the Shipping Door it can be matched up with the Open PO.

The Shipping option allows plant employees to generate Shipping Slips. Simply enter the Header Information.

The software will provide you with a list of the Open Jobs for the Customer you have selected. Pick the appropriate job and the details of that will loaded onto the screen. The Shipper can add any other information and can then generate the Packing Slip.

The Packing Slip can be previewed before the Final Print. Please Note that your logo can be added to software to appear on Invoices, Packing Slips and Purchase Orders.

Once the Packing Slip is OK they can be printed one at a time or in batches.

The Supervisors can have a special password to access other portions of the program from the Shop Floor Stations.

Companies can still achieve tremendous savings from employee accountability and the resulting waste decreases and productivity increases without Shop Floor Data Collection by utilizing Timesheets.

Time & Materials are recorded by the employees on to time sheets. These timesheets can be collected and entered into the computer each morning. The software will provide the following screen to enter the time and material transactions
